Teaching and Curriculum Design Experience

Since 2018, Yuki has worked as a teaching artist, poetry teacher and writing instructor for various schools, non-profits and businesses, both online and in-person. Her academic teaching experience includes having taught writing as an adjunct professor at Ringling College of Art and Design. Within her community-based teaching, she has worked with students of a diverse range of backgrounds, ages and abilities.

Her speciality is in designing relevant and engaging workshops and classes, highlighting the poetic interconnectedness of life. She designs curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, innovation and empathy, all centering the expansion of perspective.
